Zoom for Educators

Below is a learning opportunity webinar presented by Rebecca Shea, M.S., Senior Professional Development Specialist

This session is aimed for educators who have not used Zoom before and would like to learn how to use this platform for remote student learning and teacher facilitation of content in real-time (synchronous).  

Participants will be able to: 

  • Learn Zoom basics, such as hosting a Zoom meeting, meeting features, and how to record/access/share your recordings with students and parents

  • Use breakout rooms and polling for student engagement for groups and/or individual student support 

  • Use screen sharing for students to share work with the class 

  • Download Zoom on your desktop, Mac, or other devices (e.g. phones, tablets) for easy access
